All the Details
Join us for a rare and unforgettable evening with record-breaking cyclists who have pushed past fear, comfort, convention, and expectation to redefine what’s possible. These are not just athletes. They are storytellers of resilience. Architects of purpose. Living proof that the limits we accept are often the ones we create.
Featured speaker Samer Abouhamad walked away from a successful Wall Street career to pursue a deeper calling, one powered by two wheels and a relentless desire to connect humanity. Cycling across 61 countries, Samer has experienced the world not from behind a screen, but face-to-face, discovering generosity in strangers, strength in adversity, and unity across cultures. His journey challenges the social norms that define success and asks a bigger question: What would you do if you chose purpose over comfort?
The Major Taylor Association, carrying forward the legacy of Marshall “Major” Taylor and challenging inequity in sport and society. Major Taylor was the world's first black sports superstar. He was the world cycling champion in 1899, the American sprint champion in 1900, and set numerous track cycling records while facing harsh prejudice and inequality.
Bikes Not Bombs, proving that bicycles can be vehicles for global empowerment and opportunity. Bikes not Bombs uses the bicycle as a vehicle for social change to achieve economic mobility for Black and other marginalized people in Boston and the Global South.
Sam Westby, whose cross-country ride from Oregon to New Jersey is a testament to grit, endurance, and the unstoppable force of human will.
Together, these riders represent not just athletic achievement but a deeper commitment to service, equity, and human connection.
Whether you're a cyclist, an adventurer, or simply someone searching for inspiration, this evening will challenge you to think bigger, ride farther, and live with greater purpose.
