SCHOOL TOURS
The Larz Anderson Auto Museum is a wonderful resource for bringing classroom exhibitis alive! Our Automotive Exhibits provide a fascinating story of the far-reaching changes the automobile has provided modern society. From rich man’s toy to everyday necessity, from the rise of suburban culture, to changing patterns in courtship; the automobile has changed our everyday practices. These topics can be explored in depth through text, video, and historic artifacts. For teachers, the museum has prepared 16 grade level lessons on the automobile and it’s impact on society that we will gladly tailor to your students. For younger students, we offer a play zone that has been generously provided with support from the Hasbro companies.
